- Use a more "fragile" standard braid to save just €1,500 on the purchase price.
- Use partially or totally a rope with different elongation and strength properties.
- Change seine size during its lifetime
- Use a maintenance assembly other than the one recommended.
- Use nets with different strength characteristics.
- Adding ballast weight with chain, for example, has very little effect on your seine's sink rate.
